I worked for three years as a programmer at Ingenia in Ottawa, Canada. Then I moved to Scotland for seven years where I founded Digital Routes. Now I'm a software engineer at Google in California.
Over the years I've created a mélange of open-source software. I've also built some rather unusual hardware. On rare occasions I've even been known to write something interesting.
This Saturday was the Boing Boing Picnic in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Continuing with the theme of placing my Android phone in dangerous situations, I strapped it to a very large Helium balloon some people were flying at the picnic and used it to shoot some aerial video. Enjoy:
I also brought my croquet set. We had several good games, but were interrupted when a gopher popped up in the middle of the field. He wasn't too happy about being surrounded by people wielding mallets; a real-life Whac-A-Mole. Play stopped while we attempted to photograph him. The results were pretty good.
