Work work work

31 January 2003

January has been a most entertaining month. It's been a crash course in contract negotiation, corporate law, and what happens when friendship and business collides. Not something I'd like to repeat.

However, at the end of the day (or month), everything has turned out alright. Digital Routes has merged with Data Converters, something I'm very happy about. The people here are very good.

I'm now working in Elgin, which is 45 minutes east of Inverness by train. Whether I move to Elgin remains to be seen, for now I'll just commute. February is going to be extremely hectic as I catch up with the backlog of work that's accumulated during January. After that, I'm hoping to get a bit more free time.
